She has keen interests in Energy and Natural resources, Shipping, and International Trade. She is particularly passionate about leveraging the law as a catalyst for responsible business conduct, inclusive economic growth, and sustainable development across Africa.

She brings a thoughtful, analytical, and solutions-oriented approach to her work, and thrives in collaborative, multidisciplinary environments. She is committed to contributing to innovative, practical, and impact-driven legal solutions that respond to contemporary global challenges.
Beyond her legal practice, she is actively engaged in social impact initiatives through the Matela Foundation, where she supports programs focused on empowering young girls in Africa and advancing gender equity.
In her spare time, Anita enjoys exploring new culinary experiences, reading African literature, and travelling, pursuits that continue to broaden her perspective and inform her appreciation for diverse cultures and ideas.
