We are very actively engaged in company formation and assists clients to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for establishing business in Nigeria. We also advise on foreign exchange regulations affecting investors in Nigerian equity and debt stock.

VIEW SOME TRANSACTIONS

  • We canvassed arguments and ultimately convinced the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on the legality of a registered Nigerian company, having its share capital denominated in multiple currencies (local and foreign), on behalf of MTN (Nigeria's leading mobile telecommunication company)
  • We advised Guinness Nigeria Plc (the Diageo subsidiary) on a scrip/dividend issue, a novel development under Nigerian company law
  • We acted as Nigerian Counsel in Accenture's global restructuring
  • The firm acted as Nigerian Counsel in IBM's global acquisition of the consulting arm of PricewaterhouseCoopers
